Studio Paper-Scissors-Hand is founded by Christine Leung who is originally from Hong Kong. She resides in Brisbane Australia with her husband and a lovely Birman cat. Christine has been drawing since her childhood. It started when her father saw and praised her first drawing. She believes that Art is the most rewarding and enjoyable thing to do in life. She began with minimum resources just paper & pencil and became excited when her cousin gave her the first Peter Pan coloring book. Christine pursued her passion to study Art & Design in Hong Kong and in London. Her specialty was interior design where she had practiced in the industry for two decades. After migrating to Australia, Christine was thrilled by the beauty of the country, the colorful wildlife. She sees that there’s nothing more important than being constantly in touch with nature and involve in the work of art. She feels fortunate to be able to do both.
Christine has completed Art therapy training at CECAT in 2023. The training lays a foundation for her understanding the importance of the relationship between human emotion and body. Moreover it helps with her awareness and sensitivity toward the community and individuals in regard to the issues of mental well-being.
